Daniel Walker

Elected in February 2025, Daniel Walker is the Student Body President of the Student Government Association. Pursuing a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in healthcare administration, he has shown deep commitment to service and community involvement. Daniel has served in numerous leadership roles at ECU, including the Vice President and Special Events Chair of Pi Kappa Alpha, Vice President of Health and Wellness for the University of North Carolina Association of Student Governments, and the Director of University Affairs for ECU’s Student Government Association. Walker’s involvement across campus has honed his skills in strategic planning, networking, and problem solving.
Outside of his academic pursuits, Daniel enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, and listening to country music. Ultimately, he aspires to pursue a career in the health policy field, championing large-scale change for those in rural communities. A native of Currituck, North Carolina, Daniel currently resides in Greenville, NC, and plans to pursue a professional career path upon graduation in May 2027.
