Scott Shook
Scott Shook is an ECU alumnus, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Since that time, he has worked in banking and securities, and is currently a Financial Advisor and Vice President at Truist Investment Services. He was appointed to the Board of Trustees by the North Carolina House of Representatives to serve a term ending in 2023. Scott has previously served on the State Board of Community Colleges, where he served two full terms as Chair, 2015-2017 and 2017-2019. Additionally, Scott chaired the Community College Enrollment Task Force. No stranger to serving his alma mater, Scott is a former member of the East Carolina University Board of Visitors and East Carolina University Educational Foundation – Pirate Club.
His history of service to the local community includes 11 years of service on the City of Greenville’s Board of Adjustments, which he chaired for 5 years, and membership in the Greenville – Pitt Chamber of Commerce.
