Cassandra B. Burt attended ECU in the early 1980’s after which, she became a long-time employee of Hastings Ford. During her time there, she served in the accounting office as well as in the office manager role. She is currently an active member and treasurer of the Seaside Arts Council in Swansboro, North Carolina and serves on the board for the ECU Medical & Health Sciences Board. She spends a great deal of time volunteering throughout the community. Burt and her husband, Travis, are passionate about their work with the local Boys and Girls Club of Morehead City. They also take pride in supporting youth sport programs, and volunteering with Hope Mission. The Burts are also passionate members of the Pirate Club.
